Diagnostics & imaging
What it is
When something is not right, tests help us find out why. Our in-house lab, digital X-ray and ultrasound mean most results come back the same day, so you are not left waiting and worrying.
When your pet needs it
- Your pet is unwell and the cause is not obvious
- Before an anaesthetic in older pets
- To monitor a long-term condition
- After an injury or a suspected swallowed object
What to expect

- Step 2: Samples or scansBlood and urine samples take minutes. X-rays and scans may need light sedation.
- Step 3: ResultsWe call you the same day with results in plain language.
- Step 4: Next stepsWe agree a treatment plan together.
How to prepare
- Your vet may ask you not to feed your pet for a few hours
- Bring a fresh urine sample if asked. We can give you a pot.
